A birthday stay to remember !🤦‍♀️🎂🎉

We had such a lovely stay at Chalong Marina Bay View to celebrate my birthday. From check-in, we were warmly greeted by a lovely lady with such a genuine and beautiful smile, which immediately made us feel welcome.

The infinity pool was fantastic and the marina views were beautiful at the rooftop. Having our own private pool also made it extra special for enjoying some relaxing family time. Only check-in issue is that our travel agent booked it from 3rd party and they give us a wrong room during check-in that make us have to move twice this trip. I was expecting my pre-birthday celebration decoration as shown online but didn’t managed to get it in time when we were based overseas and all the nice decorations require to be pre-book in advance. The team did presented a simple welcome fruit platter and hand written card which I truely appreciate little gestures from them.

The breakfast choices were fairly average, but we really appreciated how the resturant service crew presented themselves with a pleasant smile to greet us morning and enjoy your day. The manager understands both side of the company and client’s situation and try ways to handle FAIRLY on our feedback. They went the extra mile by arranging breakfast to be sent to our room as my hubby missed his flight and ended up on the afternoon flight, or offering a floating breakfast instead, which was a lovely touch — especially on our last day before moving up to the full sea-view room. Because of this arrangement, we decided to stick on to this hotel and not change to the other city one.

A special thank you to Khun Natty, the manager and also Namthip, for being so warm, attentive and thoughtful. She really made us feel well taken care of after this huge misunderstanding the booking so I was arranged for a late check-out. I was quite disappointed at the start as they are quite strict on their policy internally as the customer service can help but apps really take a while to respond as it is quite a new system for all to use but the online app platform was great but can be unstable at time on connection. I suggested that they should offer more shuttle bus timing as the trip to tourist places is available only past 4pm but the Buddha closed at 5pm so we did not engage in case the traffic is as bad as we checked-in.

It was a memorable way to celebrate my birthday as I managed to get a recovery and negotiation settle amicably, and we truly appreciated how the team made things right. 👍 The manager even recommended us the infinity pool which was great indeed but too hot for us as the guests will be smoking at the side. As for the rooms, please be assure that it is as it is and the cleaning staffs are trying their best to maintain it but the toiletries has to be pre-order too. The only setback is we yet to travel outside to the city area as our driver mentioned that it is quite a distance to town but happily recommend Chalong Marina Bay View for a relaxing Phuket getaway! Hope this review can earn a 5 🌟 by the end of my entire trip as I always believe there is a little room for genuine feedback for great improvements.

The ONLY set back is the hotel abides to super strict rules  and their floating breakfast was nice but not much of a choice. Some floor staffs are not as well-trained but some f n b staffs are very helpful esp. for my little one and birthday surprise. Hopefully they can resolve internally on the electricity outrage on the last night as I have extended my trip for the next booking to their seaview room as a goodwilll gesture due to the arrangement of the manager. The hotel went out of electricity for once the entire night due to the heavy rain but still grateful that hotel offered breakfast instead even we decided to go out for the next 3 days. Appreciate her kind understanding for the guests in return as we have no choice but to adapt to changes and hope we can still be able to recommend to our fellow families and travellers.  🙏🌴✨

В целом ок. Из минусов ужасная дорога к отелю с кучей мерзких искусственных неровностей, которые разбивают вам подвеску. При заезде требуют депозит наличными, кредитную карту не принимают, но так же можно оставить документ в залог. В отеле хороший ресторан, где мы часто обедали. На 4 этаже бассейн с которого даже есть вид на море, из номеров ниже 4 этажа вида нет. В номере не было халатов, что странно для 5 звезд, но были зонты и пляжные полотенца. В локации тихо, но мы жили в двухкомнатной квартире, где окна не в мастер спальне выходят на общий коридор из-за чего было шумно под утро.

Overall the house was lovely, electricity fee was not too bad and the pool was great to swim in with a good depth and temperature. Our only issue was the small bin in the kitchen, as we were getting a lot of deliveries of food and 7 eleven visits, the bin was overflowing on day one and we had to use plastic bags which became a little messy, however this was not a big problem. It was a great place to stay in Phuket. The apartment was at excellent location facing the beach. Great access to all the activities and seaside sports sites. We could do relaxing beach walk at sunset just by crossing the road. The apartment was clean and rooms are spacious. Also included access to park our rental car. Wir waren als fünfköpfige Familie für drei Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Villa und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. ❤️Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit sehr freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Egal, ob wir eine Frage hatten oder ein kleines Problem aufgetreten ist – es wurde sich sofort darum gekümmert und schnell eine Lösung gefunden. Man hatte wirklich das Gefühl, dass ihnen wichtig ist, dass es uns an nichts fehlt.Die Villa war sehr schön, gepflegt und vor allem immer sauber. Wir konnten die drei Wochen als Familie richtig genießen und hatten eine wundervolle Zeit.Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft und dafür, dass ihr euch so gut um uns gekümmert habt! ☺The villa is just 5 minutes away from all the restaurants and cafes at Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket, which made everything very convenient. The community feels very safe with 24-hour security. The rooms are spacious, perfect for families or groups of friends. The highlight for us was the huge garden and private pool — absolutely beautiful and relaxing.
